The 85 Challenge

Mandarin Middle School: The 85 Challenge

The “85 Challenge”:

• AVID students expected to study and complete homework a minimum of 85 minutes per week

• AVID students expected to make a least an 85 in all classes

• Goal is to have 85 percent of all students passing all their classes

• The contest is between all AVID classes: 6th , 7th , and 8th

• The highest achieving class will receive a pizza celebration each quarter

• All AVID students are required to complete weekly.
